Is Mecan for a business like mine?

Mecan is for local service businesses: salons, barbers, trainers, wellness practitioners, pet groomers, cleaners and more. Use Desk for customer enquiries and appointment requests, Studio for Instagram content, or both.

What does the free trial include?

Eligible first-time subscribers get Desk and Studio for 14 days, starting at checkout. A card is required. The trial renews with both products at $198/month, plus applicable tax. Cancel before it ends to avoid a charge. Personal setup help is included.

Can I keep just Desk or just Studio?

Yes. Paid subscriptions can include Desk, Studio or both. Changing products during a trial ends the trial and starts paid billing immediately. Manage your subscription in Billing.

Does Desk confirm appointments for me?

No. Customers can request a time through your booking page or conversations on connected Instagram and WhatsApp accounts. Requests reserve capacity in your Mecan calendar and wait for your approval. You confirm the appointment.

Will Studio post without my approval?

No. You create and review each post, then explicitly publish it or schedule it. Creating posts does not require an Instagram connection; publishing and scheduling require a connected account with publishing permission.

Does Mecan connect to my existing calendar?

Desk uses the Mecan calendar. External calendar or POS sync, separate staff calendars and taking appointment payments are outside the current offer.
